Last week, we looked at the definition and examples of true miracles. So, this week will look at the counterfeit miracles. Last Sunday, I told you that I would give you the purposes for true miracles. Here is that list: 1.) The first purpose of miracles is to bring glory to GOD. 2.) The second purpose of miracles is to authenticate the message of GOD in the Scripture. 3.) The third purpose is to demonstrate that the Kingdom of GOD was present in power. (Luke 4:18; 9:1-2) 4.) The fourth purpose is to help people who were and are in need. In this message, we will look at the miracles that fail to meet this criteria.
