For the last two weeks, we have considered the structure and literary devices of the Psalms. Today, we will move forward by looking at another structural issue and then get into one of the “types” of the Psalms. Psalms 103 and 113 are examples of “tehillim” (the Songs of Praise). We will consider them individually after we think about the compilation of the Psalms.
